Introduction to Action Learning

3.5 ICF CEUs

This half-day seminar/workshop is provided at the invitation of a business as well as non-profit and professional organizations. This program is an ideal way to introduce the concepts of Action Learning Coaching by demonstrating the process and provide for some hands-on experience with the Action Learning process. In addition, participants will learn about the requirements for WIAL Action Learning Coach certification. If your organization likes the idea of Action Learning but isn't sure what it would look and feel like, this is the program for you!

This program is designed for:

• Executives and line managers who want to "sample" Action Learning before buying-into a program
• Action Learning project managers
• OD professionals
• Potential Coaches
• Organizational Champions
• Sponsors
• Those with a curiosity as to the nature of Action Learning

Upon Completion:

Ability to participate on an Action Learning team.

Fee: $1500 plus travel costs.

 

In-house Versions of Public Programs

WIAL frequently conducts the programs described in the Up-coming programs page on-site in organizations around the world. These programs are often customized to meet the objectives of the organization.

Foundations of Action Learning:
This 2-day program (see further description in the Up-Coming Programs page) is an ideal way to introduce members of your organization to the power of Action Learning. In addition to learning about Action Learning, they will also develop creative and highly effective solutions to real problems in their organization.

Certification for Action Learning Coaches:
WIAL will conduct an "In-House" Certification for Action Learning Coaches program (described in the Up-Coming Programs page) for your organization. The required 4 days of training can be arranged in a number of configurations to meet the objectives of the organization. This is an excellent method for training the coaches that your organization will assign to Action Learning teams as part of leadership, team or employee development programs.

Fees: $3000 US/training day per Master Action Learning Coach. One Master Action Learning Coach is required for a class of up to 15 participants for the Action learning Foundations program. One Master Action Learning Coach is required for each team of up to 8 certification candidates in an Certification for Action Learning Coaches program (i.e. a class of 2, six-person Action Learning Teams would require 2 Master Action Learning Coaches per day of training).
