Research indicates that a key success factor for Action Learning programs is having a trained
Action Learning coach at the helm. Increasingly, more organizations want their programs
conducted by Certified Action Learning coaches (CALC).

Professionals can enhance their careers and their value to their organizations with a
certification in Action Learning from WIAL, the certification organization for Action Learning.

Retain Your AL Coach Certification (CALC)

There are two requirements to retain your Action Learning coach certification:

1. Submit proof of coaching Action Learning sessions. Include:

• Date
• Client
• A brief description of the problem
• The actions that will be taken
• Your personal learning
• Submit above information to Dr. Bea Carson, bea.carson@wial.org

2. Attend a WIAL sanctioned event once a year such as the annual WIAL Forum (June 2011)
