International Affiliates
WIAL International Affiliates help to promote Action Learning across the globe. WIAL authorizes its licensed affiliates to certify Action Learning coaches using the WIAL method of Action Learning, and adhering to the same highest quality standards.
WIAL provides its affiliates with resources and support so that they benefit from research and best practices. WIAL supports affiliates in the training and development of certified Action Learning coaches in their regions.
WIAL supports its affiliates as they reach out to all sectors— village, municipal, regional and national government, university, business, NGO community— where Action Learning can transform how organizations approach problem solving, leadership development, team building, as well as organizational and individual learning.
WIAL envisions one affiliate per country, yet recognizes that in some instances a single affiliate may serve several countries or a region or sector within a country. WIAL seeks flexibility in working with its affiliates to meet the needs for Action Learning coaches in their societies. WIAL has affiliates or is in the process of developing affiliates organizations in North American, South America, Europe, Asia, Africa, and Australia.

The following is a description of the affiliates that are now part of the WIAL network of organizations sponsoring and promoting the WIAL approach to Action Learning.
Become an Affiliate
Organizations that wish to become WIAL affiliates must meet these criteria:
- Represent a broad sector of society (university, NGO, state/local government, corporate, non-profit)
- Have as part of their mission or program offerings the promotion of Action Learning
- Be willing and capable of training and certifying Action Learning coaches to facilitate Action Learning
WIAL offers guidance in this process and sets the standards for the certification of Action Learning coaches.
